Also, thanks for posting the pic of your Aussies. I have two and they are the best dogs. My male goes junkin with me all of the time. The top has a little wick that looks slightly burnt but the bulb is completely enclosed giving the candle a soft glowing effect. They look and feel like real candles but don't pose the problem of burning my 3-year-old's hair off like the real kind. I love them and keep them in the master bathroom for ambiance, not that I take many relaxing baths.April @ HomeHinges.comhttp://homehinges.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2844815276848548126.post-24625678420933752032010-09-25T13:55:50.692-04:002010-09-25T13:55:50.692-04:00I have used them for a couple of years now- ever s...I have used them for a couple of years now- ever since a neighbor's house burned down from- yep, candles burning.

Love them, although I agree- the light is not very bright.

-annieAnnie @ PlumSienahttp://plumsiena.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2844815276848548126.post-46893010514208220772010-09-24T16:33:56.077-04:002010-09-24T16:33:56.077-04:00I have used these candles for quite a while now an...I have used these candles for quite a while now and they are a great option for those rooms that need a bit of candlelightand no one is in the room allthe time i.e a party. They are also nice to use at a dinner table as there is no scent to compete with the smell of the food.diane@onlinefabricstorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07686191708948008540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2844815276848548126.post-30539143490458229692010-09-24T14:57:37.137-04:002010-09-24T14:57:37.137-04:00@Louise - what a great idea!@Louise - what a great idea!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16248726883365446241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2844815276848548126.post-74220641727386765212010-09-24T13:20:22.306-04:002010-09-24T13:20:22.306-04:00I love the idea, and bought one some time ago, yet...I love the idea, and bought one some time ago, yet never use it because the light is way too dim, not at all like a candle. You won't see the fake flame cause it is plopped down in the candle. A good way to use candles that are burning down. The heat of the LED light makes the candle a tad warm so you still get a whiff of candle scent, but the LED isn't hot enough to really melt the candle anymore.Louisenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2844815276848548126.post-61593416804448798372010-09-24T01:42:08.415-04:002010-09-24T01:42:08.415-04:00Yep - I've got them too. Every night they come at 6pm and turn off at midnight. I also have some candle stick looking battery candles that do the same thing.
