tip: I bought these flowers 7 days ago, and just from a grocery store! I cut the stems (with sharp snips so as not to crush the stems, therefore inhibiting water from getting to the bloom), and stripped off all leaves. I change the water every or every other day and stir in a couple of drops to bleach and a heaping spoonful of sugar.

I especially love having flowers at this time of year. I think I've had enough winter and flowers just scream spring to me:)
These are so fun! I purchased tulips almost every weekend last month - winter is so much more bearable with blooms around!
