Making the details count

I love the little "moments" in a person's home where you just have to stand and let your eye travel around the nook, shelf, or table top where you find the little details that speak volumes about the owner.

I think these shelves are from the home of Jen Ramos of Made by Girl

Love the wallpaper on the back of the shelves - you can tell this person has a feminine aesthetic and pays great attention to detail.

Possibly the most adorable and chic little kitchen ever.

What spot or room in your home speaks the most about you? What does it say?

I agree - details really make the room. I love the shelves you showed, and the hot pink kitchen towel!

I'm with Stacy - love the pink towel, those shelves with the black backing look so chic, and that kitchen vignette with the tins is adorable. I try to change out what I have in my kitchen, similar to that, on a regular basis. I spend most of my time there, so I like to make it nice!

An eye catching detail in another person's house is so exciting to me. I love it when it is a surprising combination that works.

Los cuadros colgados de la pared de mi casa creo que dicen mucho de mí. Me encantan en todos los tamaños y colores, acuarelas, óleos y láminas. Es mi espacio preferido.
