One of the best lampshade refab how-tos ever

Need a spring spruce up but no budget whatsoever? I found this how to and thought it might make a nice weekend project. I'd love to see before and after pics if anyone decides to give this a go!

Perfect timing, I needed this. Thank you so much for posting! I was about to cover a lampshade and was going to use hot glue, but the tape looks so much easier. I will send you pics when I am done.

Looks great, but it is so hard to find drum-shaped lamp shades at thrift stores! I love them but I think they're too trendy for Goodwill so far. The frustrating thing is it's actually hard to find them anywhere without the lamps--e.g. TJ Maxx has a ton of beautiful lamps with drum shades but I want to use my vintage lamps so I just need the shade...
Love that red/white fabric.
