What a difference textiles make!

I received an email from Calico Corners last week and their photos caught my attention, so I decided to give their site a look-see. They have some nice inspiration, online idea notebooks, design advice, and fabrics for sale. Here are some of my favs.

This Victorian chair frame with contemporary fabric I find especially striking.

The curtains are gorgeous

I like this Art Nouveau style fabric -"Flowerfield" from their modern line.

Another modern - "Cassandra"

That black and white striped chair is to die for!

Annie Selke fabrics.

Love the Annie Selke patterns. And I agree that CC is worth a look when you're trying to mix and match patterns and colors... their site has been very helpful to me.

Wow Calico, here I thought you were all stodgy old damask and tapestry. You sure proved me wrong! I love the Blossom fabric.

Ashley, thanks for this posting! Glad you discovered all the resources that Calico Corners has put online for designers, bloggers and home decorators in search of inspiration. New fabrics are constantly being added--and there is a great selection of graphic patterns and Thomas Paul prints too. I wanted to invite you and your followers to subscribe to the free Calico E-Newsletter--the link is a little hidden in our Design Center, but here it is to copy and paste:

Do you know if where I can find that Iman Home Samoan Plantation fabric in the aqua version like in the picture? I know it has been 2 1/2 years since you posted but I cannot find it anywhere online! I wonder if it is sold out everywhere... I am dying. It is the ONE fabric I want. Please help!!!

Thanks for your help, Ashley, and for the link, but I think that the Iman Home Samoan Plantation in aqua/light blue(?) must be out of print or something, to my huge chagrin. The jasper version is a dark spruce color. But thanks for your help. I will call Calico Corners to see if they can locate the fabric in aqua/light blue.
