This weekend I'm heading down to Westminster, MD, to visit my parents on their 65 acre farm. I'll get fresh eggs each morning, and grilled veggies right from their garden at night. Hopefully my allergies are done bothering me and I can spend my afternoons under the trees with some homemade sangria! Here's some very pretty farmhouses to give you a taste!
hopefully one day I'll have a home with a view like this!
First, great pictures. Second, my initial response was, you're kidding me, right! I essentially grew up just outside of Westminster (even more country) next door to my grandparents' farm. My grandparents lived in a retirement home in Westminster (they have now both passed on).
That is so funny! I have the best memories as a child sitting in the pastures at dusk watching the fireflies, etc. and eating all the home grown goodness of Carroll County.
I'll take that library, the pale blue bedroom and the mauvy-lavender sitting room, please, thank you. Hope you have a beautiful weekend in the country.
Yes please to the view of the pasture and horses! Thank you for sharing all of the great pictures - I hope you had a great time at your parents' farm. This is my first time to your blog. I'm excited to look around.

Wow! Small world! I actually grew up in Trappe, MD. We had a farm right on the bay.

Love the bedroom and the brightness of the house (mansion!!!)!
