Ooh, Boston is getting cuter and fancier, showing off it's lighter side. Well done.
I lived in Boston for 10 years and didn't hear about this place. Now, I'm back for a business trip, so I'll have to go check it out. Great timing! Thanks for the heads up!

Gorgeous. Now I need one closer. If you had to pick only one thing to buy from the photos, what would it be?

Okay, I just got back from Hudson and I can't believe how disappointed I am right now.The pictures on their site were probably taken over the course of many months. The store is TINY. The picture above with the blue, striped bench shows you the ENTIRE store. There were only about five pieces of furniture in the store: a chaise, a sofa, a buffet, and two small bookcases. What's more, the two women working there were fawning over a couple trying on scarves and didn't even bother to acknowledge me when I got there. I finally said hello to one of them after main a lap of the store (this only took about three minutes).I was happy to see that they are dog friendly, but that didn't redeem the place. Here's a picture of the exterior: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeanninepc99/3702525944/in/set-72157621016296333/
This is a reply to Jeannine...I'm the owner of Hudson in Boston and was so upset to read your comments on my store.Unfortunately, when you arrived in my store it was at the end of a month long sale which emptied us out. (we are actually resetting today)...and yes we are tiny, but I feel that quality is better than quantity..and that sometimes a smaller store gives a much more intimate feeling than a sprawling space. As far as the customer service is concerned, we have always been applauded on this..sometimes, unfortunately, certain clients do take up all of our attention and we can lapse in our greetings..I personally apologize for this. All of this said, I do hope the next time you are in town you will come visit us again...I have excited plans for the Fall Showroom..
I should have posted the other day. After thinking about it, I wish I had noticed that they have a store in Wellesley, near my brother's house. I'm sure that store is much bigger.A friend who lives around the corner in the South End was very excited about The Buttery, a cafe/restaurant next door, so if anyone else ventures to the store, grab a cupcake or a snack there!
Thanks for the info. Good to know.
