Back home to the city

I had a nice relaxing weekend at my parents farm this weekend, but now I am back home in NYC. I thought I'd ring in the week with some urban interiors to get me back in the swing of things. Do you prefer urban styles like these or more country interiors?

*love* the wide plank hardwood floors!

I like these tables mixed with the polish of the rest of the kitchen.

All these images are gorgeous - I'd always pictured myself having a home a bit like an art gallery come loft with a mix of really modern, clean cut firniture, and worn old tables and chairs, all mismatched ♥ A bit of country and city I guess

I prefer country interiors but i love the city.. Could i take a country house in the city?? That would be ideal!

Love the country interiors- they are so free and beautiful. The horses in the pastures are our favorites and we love the picture of the horse head in the bar area with the pretty wallpaper behind.

I'm more of an urban chic kind of girl! But, every design has it's place. I suppose if I had a spectacular house in the Hamptons, a little country decorating might go a long way! hehe

I prefer more of a country interior althought I enjoy looking at contemporary rooms, too.

Oh, I would say country interiors... I can't wait to move down south one day and have a cute little country house... le sigh.

But in the third from the last picture, is that an actual window framing the tower?! If so, that is the coolest thing ever!

I like urban decorating better than country overall but I don't like overly modern, so a mix is best for me!

I like that twiggy table. What is it? The inside of a piano or something? I like the purple lamp too. Great job in Alaska, by the way!
