Two Waterfront Retreats

I am in need of some solace - big time. I've been dealing with a series of stressful situations which even have me considering picking up and moving to a new city. A waterfront retreat with no demands on my time, surrounded by nature and quiet, sounds like a dream.

Would you chose the lake front retreat?...

...or the beach retreat?

I'd love a few days at the beach retreat. Everybody needs to getaway every now & then to clear the head & this would be the perfect place or it.

Hang in there. The stressful situation will pass eventually!

I am also having some horrible times and would love to chuck everything and move away, so if given the choice I think it would always be the beach. I would love to hear waves crashing everyday.
Hope things get better for both of us and if I do decide to leave maybe you can just come for an extended vacation. xoxo. MB

Both are perfect for getaway escapes, but I'd choose the beach. :)

Hoping your week improves!

I would choose a beach retreat hands down.

I'm sorry you are having a stressful time...everything will be ok, hang in there.

Hmmm. Sometimes I long for the energy and hustle and bustle of the city.

Grass always greener kinda thing?

Here's hopin' things settle for you!!

Beach retreat, by a landslide. I would enjoy every sunset in the spring & summer (weather permitting) waist-deep in salt water.

Has to be the beach - no contest!

The sights, sounds and smells!

We can glimpse the sea from round the corner from our holiday cottage, but not close enough to smell it or hear it :(

Tough, tough question!
I love how tranquil the lake house feels, though I love the ocean!
Both beautiful interiors!

If you can find a great deal on a beach house, that would be my pick! I hope everything turns out great for you! Do like I do... give it up to the universe!

I like the lakefront photos better, but I'd definitely choose to live by the beach.
