Does anyone know where to find something like these in the states?

In the beginning of December, I posted some storage ideas - you can read the post here. Reader Jeffrey asked me to source these crates, which I originally saw on Creature Comforts. Turns out the crates are from Baileys Home and Garden in the UK. You can see more of their awesome products in a post from last week, A Simple, Beautiful, Natural Home. Anyway, does anyone know where similar crates can be bought in the US? Thanks for any leads!

They look a lot like wine crates. You could probably get them at either a winery or at a props shop (lol they look a lot like the ones we used to use on sets at the opera).

Flea Markets always have crates like that (at least the ones I go to in PA) and usually run only $10.00/crate.

Flea Markets, Yard Sales, even on ebay.... :)Also if you live near any farming communities, check out the occasional barn sale.

my mom has gotten about 15 similar wine crates for FREE by contacting her local sam's club liquor store and asking an employee (the manager?) to save them for her when he unpacks. when he gets a few he calls her and she goes to pick them up. otherwise the store just throws them out! surely other liquor stores do the same. they are new, so brighter wood, but i'm sure it would be easy enough to stain, paint, and/or sand them.

Curious, I did a Google search for "milk crates wooden" and came up with a lot of sites that sell them. Some of the sites sold antique crates, but I don't know if they had multiples of them. Good luck!
