Cardboard box bedding

Dutch by Design, an online store for contemporary interior accessories from the Netherlands, recently announced a new product this autumn, the Home Duvet. The duvet is printed with a cardboard box pattern to raise awareness of homelessness, and 30% of gross profits from the sale will go to Centrepoint,a charity for homeless young people aged 16-25.

A representative says, "Although this is partly a charitable effort, we’re not letting that compromise the quality of product we’re supplying. The cotton has a thread count of 144 threads per square inch, so it feels soft to the touch. It’s long lasting, easy to clean and is virtually non-iron. We’ve taken care to source an ethical product, too: the duvet cover is produced in Pakistan and child labour is not used."

I think I like the concept of this far better than the actual aesthetics. Definitely unique, definitely could create some awesome juxtaposition with it. Maybe there's too many yellow undertones in it for me.
